I was surprised at how many there were once I got to looking...but the cricket population declined almost entirely after I sealed everything up. Lately, I've been seeing a mini-infestation of mainly camel crickets in my basement. Over the years, a few would come in here and there when it got cold, but I've never seen anything like what I'm seeing now. It is so annoying to turn on the light and see them on the wall, the floor, on the chair, wherever. I even see little baby ones! They have got to go!
